At Tikiti, we understand that sometimes plans change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both event organisers and ticket purchasers while maintaining the integrity of the platform.
Important: Refund policies are set by individual event organisers. Always check the specific refund policy for each event before purchasing.
Standard Refund Categories
π’ Full Refund (100%)
- Event cancelled by organiser
- Event postponed without acceptable alternative date
- Significant changes to event (venue, time, or nature)
- Technical issues preventing ticket delivery
π‘ Partial Refund (Varies)
- Cancellation within organiser's specified timeframe
- Event rescheduled with advance notice
- Ticket exchanges or downgrades
π΄ No Refund
- Change of mind or personal circumstances
- Failure to attend the event
- Weather conditions (unless event is cancelled)
- After event has taken place
How to Request a Refund
- Check the Event's Refund Policy: Review the specific refund terms for your event
- Contact Support: Email us at refunds@tikiti.co.za or use our contact form
- Provide Details: Include your order number, event details, and reason for refund
- Wait for Review: We'll review your request within 2-3 business days
- Receive Refund: Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
Processing Times & Methods
Refunds are processed using the original payment method whenever possible:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 3-5 business days
- Bank Transfers: 1-2 business days
- Digital Wallets: 1-3 business days
- Cash/Alternative Methods: Contact support for arrangements
Service Fees & Processing Charges
Tikiti service fees and processing charges:
- Service fees are generally non-refundable except in cases of event cancellation
- Payment processing fees may be deducted from refunds
- For event cancellations by organisers, all fees are fully refunded
Event Organiser Responsibilities
Event organisers must:
- Clearly state their refund policy before ticket sales
- Provide 24-48 hours notice for cancellations when possible
- Offer alternative arrangements for postponed events
- Communicate changes promptly to ticket holders
